Viktoria and Jörg in Kopenhagen
Posterprize at NordBio‑III

Zoom

NordBio-III, entitled ‘Biocatalysis in the Nordics’, took place from 24 to 25 September 2026 at the IDA Conference Centre in Copenhagen. The conference covered a range of key topics – from biocatalysis and sustainability to data science and automation – bringing together scientists, industry representatives and early-career researchers from across Scandinavia, Europe and beyond.

Our PhD student Viktoria Warth presented her latest findings in a poster and once again won one of the coveted poster prizes. Congratulations, Viktoria! We are delighted for you. This is a fantastic achievement.

However, Viktoria did not attend the conference alone: Jörg Pietruszka gave an inspiring talk on the Institute’s research. Alongside many other presentations by professors and postdocs, there were also fascinating contributions from companies such as Bayer (Peter Heinemann), AstraZeneca (including Diana Amariei, our former colleague) and Novonesis.

NordBio-III was a successful event, packed with fascinating presentations and inspiring discussions. Our institute was excellently represented by Viktoria and Jörg. Many thanks to them for that.
