On the occasion of the 80th birthday of Prof. Dr. Ing. Christian Wandrey on April 12, a special issue of the journal Chemie Ingenieur Technik was published. Gizem Ölçücü, Ulrich Krauss, Karl-Erich Jaeger and Jörg Pietruszka contributed an extensive review on enzyme immobilization methods for flow chemistry. Focusing on carrier-free methods, they present progress in this field and future trends.
