In Greifswald the "Novel Enzymes 2023" conference took place from 28.03. - 31.03., hosted by Uwe Bornscheuer. From our group Lisa Böhmer, Jörg Pietruszka and Thomas Classen participated in the event. Tom presented a poster on pyrrolnitrin congeners and Jörg gave a talk on pyrroloindole syntheses using methyltransferases. Besides exciting talks on topics like photocatalysis, microfluidics or enzyme catalysis, there was a nice reunion with Andreas Sebastian Klein and Henrik Terholsen, both alumni from IBOC. Andreas was able to win first place in the poster competition with his great poster. Congratulations for that, dear Andreas.
