We are back from the summer break – and ready to dive right in: Since Monday, our two elective modules Natural Product Synthesis (NatSy) and Natural Product Biochemistry (NatBC) have been running. Over the coming weeks, students can look forward to an exciting mix of lectures, seminars, and hands-on laboratory work.
In NatSy, the focus is on the synthesis of natural products, the planning of synthetic routes, and fundamental concepts of organic chemistry. NatBC, on the other hand, is dedicated to the isolation of natural products and their detailed characterization.
