This week our dear colleague Marc is leaving us.
On the one hand we are all very happy for Marc that he has the chance to start his career outside the IBOC. On the other hand, we will miss him a lot. Marc has pushed forward sugar enzymology and our research with DERA and has also made an excellent contribution to external cooperation with RWTH Aachen and Japanese colleagues. Many thanks for the impeccable representation. We would also like to thank Marc for organizing countless game evenings. Marc, you have always taken care of the team as a community and smoothened many waves with your balancing nature. That is worth its weight in gold.
