From August 18 to 21, our doctoral students Viktoria Warth, Catharina Gronkowsky, and Marisa Bickmann took part in the Summer School Biotransformation in Bad Herrenalb, representing our institute. The close exchange was particularly valuable: around half of the participants came from industry or were professors, which led to exciting discussions and interesting insights. Highlights included presentations by Covestro, Numaferm, Brain Biotech, and Evonik. In addition, our colleagues were able to try out SynSilico's AI tool INNOptimizer for Bayesian optimization on site.
We would like to thank you very much for your commitment and the successful presentation of IBOC. We hope you had an enjoyable and informative time.
