After studying chemistry, Enrique started his doctoral research at the IBOC and received his degree in 2010 with the topic: "Enantiomerically Pure Allylboronic Esters. Synthesis and Applications". During his time in Jülich, he applied for a postdoctoral position at Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas and was accepted. Enrique lived and worked in Dallas for three years before moving to Spain in 2014, where he started as a senior scientist at Eurofins and later as site manager at GalChimia.
Enrique advises current staff at the Institute to enjoy their time at IBOC and learn as much as possible.
