On 3 April, we were able to give six inquisitive students an insight into our laboratory. As part of the Girls‘ & Boys’ Day, they went on an exciting expedition into the world of chemistry together with our doctoral student Viktoria.
A special highlight was the ‘luminous fume hood’ with luminol, which made chemistry visible in the truest sense of the word. The spectacular ‘elephant toothpaste’ reaction also caused astonished faces. We hope that everyone had an exciting and inspiring day.
