At the end of July, Moritz Klischan went to Bayreuth for the Natural Products and Drugs Symposium (BNPDS), where he was also able to present his poster and discuss with other scientists interested in natural products. Apart from the delicious local beer at the end of the day, there were exciting lectures out of the world of natural products. Here, method developments and total syntheses as well as research from the field of biosynthesis were presented.
